Treaty establishing the European Community (Nice consolidated version) Part Four: Association of the overseas countries and territories Article 187 Article 136 - EC Treaty (Maastricht consolidated version) Article 136 - EEC Treaty Article 187 The Council, acting unanimously, shall, on the basis of the experience acquired under the association of the countries and territories with the Community and of the principles set out in this Treaty, lay down provisions as regards the detailed rules and the procedure for the association of the countries and territories with the Community.
