NAŘÍZENÍ KOMISE (EU) 2025/1108
ze dne 23. května 2025,
kterým se mění nařízení Rady (ES) č. 2368/2002, kterým se provádí Kimberleyský systém certifikace pro mezinárodní obchod se surovými diamanty
EVROPSKÁ KOMISE,
s ohledem na Smlouvu o fungování Evropské unie,
s ohledem na nařízení Rady (ES) č. 2368/2002 ze dne 20. prosince 2002, kterým se provádí Kimberleyský systém certifikace pro mezinárodní obchod se surovými diamanty (1), a zejména na článek 20 uvedeného nařízení,
vzhledem k těmto důvodům:

V příloze II nařízení (ES) č. 2368/2002 jsou uvedeni účastníci Kimberleyského systému certifikace a jejich příslušné orgány. |
|
(2) |
Na základě informací od předsedy Kimberleyského systému certifikace nebo jeho členů může Komise změnit seznam členů a jejich příslušných orgánů. |
|
(3) |
Kimberleyský systém certifikace vzal na vědomí žádost Uzbekistánu o členství a na základě mise odborníků dospěl k závěru, že splňuje minimální požadavky systému certifikace. |
|
(4) |
Plenární zasedání Kimberleyského systému certifikace schválilo zařazení Uzbekistánu na seznam účastníků tohoto systému na svém zasedání v Dubaji v listopadu 2024. |
|
(5) |
Příloha II nařízení (ES) č. 2368/2002 by proto měla být odpovídajícím způsobem změněna, |
PŘIJALA TOTO NAŘÍZENÍ:
Článek 1
Příloha II nařízení (ES) č. 2368/2002 se nahrazuje zněním uvedeným v příloze tohoto nařízení.
Článek 2
Toto nařízení vstupuje v platnost dvacátým dnem po vyhlášení v Úředním věstníku Evropské unie.
Toto nařízení je závazné v celém rozsahu a přímo použitelné ve všech členských státech.
