Treaty establishing the European Community (Nice consolidated version) Part Five: Institutions of the Community Title I: Provisions governing the institutions Chapter 1: The institutions Section 4: The Court of Justice Article 233 Article 176 - EC Treaty (Maastricht consolidated version) Article 176 - EEC Treaty Article 233 The institution or institutions whose act has been declared void or whose failure to act has been declared contrary to this Treaty shall be required to take the necessary measures to comply with the judgment of the Court of Justice. This obligation shall not affect any obligation which may result from the application of the second paragraph of Article 288. This article shall also apply to the ECB.
